Apple Cake

  1. Add the sugar and a pinch of salt to the flour.
  2. Melt the butter, beat the egg, and add both to the flour.
  3. Mix with a spoon to form a wet dough.
  4. Cover a baking tin with half the dough.
  5. Add the apples and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
  6. Crumble the remaining pastry over the top.
  7. Bake at 190°C for 30 minutes.
